Sorry, Project 365 and other updates

I will need to revise my 101 things in 1001 days and take out participating in Project 365. The thought of being able to see a year in my life in pictures was exciting but I just can’t sustain it. I will still try to document most of what’s happening in my life, but the pressure of coming up with a photo a day is too much for me to handle right now. So sorry, Project 365! 😦 Maybe another time.

My Internet connection has been on and off the past week. I’m seriously thinking of getting Globe Tattoo so I can be on the Internet anytime.

Reading update: I’m halfway through with Love The One You’re With by Emily Giffin. It’s pretty entertaining. The story revolves around this woman in her 30s named Ellen, who is married to her best friend’s brother, a handsome, rich, emotionally stable man named Andy who loves her to pieces. One day, on Ellen’s 100th day of being married to Andy, Ellen runs into her most significant former significant other ( a bad boy writer named Leo) and the past comes rushing back.

I’m irritated that Ellen is even entertaining being friends with the ex when she has the perfect guy. It’s just a mess, what she’s getting herself into. I hope she doesn’t do anything stupid, like leave her adorable husband for this pathetic excuse for a man. (Sorry if I sound bitter, I’m just so for the good guys [now]). I’ll write my thoughts on the book when I finish it sometime this week, hopefully.

By the way, I will be going on a trip to Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija from Thursday to Monday. A team of about 55 men and women from church are going there to conduct simultaneous outreach activities (medical mission, feeding program, dance workshop, basketball clinic, and a worship concert) to minister to the local community there. Please do pray for us: for provision (we are still raising money and taking in donations for medicine and food), for safety, for good health, for unity, for our hearts to be prepared, for the hearts of the people there to be prepared.

Thank you so much!

Project 365: Day 1

Project 365 is a challenge to take a photograph everyday for 365 days. The idea is document your life and be able to look back at these photos and remember where you’ve been, who you’ve met, and what you’ve done. Here’s my Day 1 photo:

Met this Nepalese woman, Kal, and her 9-month old son Suyuk today while I was Coffee Bean through my friend Jojo, who introduced me to her. Kal’s husband is a Nepalese missionary and her testimony of how she came to know God proves yet again how amazing God is. Little Suyuk was just adorable! I hope to have one just like him in the near future. 🙂
