Update on my 101 Things in 1001 Days:

69. Watch at least two Metro Manila Filmfest entries in December or January (1/2)

So I finally got to watch an MMFF movie, one of my 101 Things to do in 1001 Days and it wasn’t so great.

I watched Star Cinema’s I Love You, Goodbye, even after our friend, Ruby, warned us not to because it would be a waste of time and money. In a way, it was good that she told me and Ingrid that it was THAT bad because we went into the cinema not expecting much.

I just can’t believe how a big movie outfit would bother to spend so much on a movie that’s half-baked. The acting was good enough, yes, but the movie was just so… half-baked. The editing, I thought, was bad. They just kept on jumping from scene to scene without good build up. And it really seems as if they didn’t think about the ending at all.

*spoiler alert*

And what is up with those getting-run-over-by-a-car scenes??! Is there no other way to kill off a character? *LOL*

Okay, so I guess I did get a good laugh. And I have to admit Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban were not hard to watch because they’re both so good-looking. How did Angelica get so skinny??!

I rate this movie: 2/5
