Rain, rain, go away!

Metro Manila has been placed in state of calamity because of typhoon “Ondoy”. According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA, the rains spawned by “Ondoy” in Metro Manila and nearby areas in the span of six hours on Saturday was the highest in 42 years.

My family and I are safe and dry in our home in Laguna. But many others are not. This is what it looks like in many areas in Manila now.

I heard that three children have died from drowning and there are still some more missing. Hundreds of families have also had to be evacuated from their homes. Some are up in their roofs even as I write this blog, waiting for rescue. Please help us pray for all these people and pray also for the rain to stop.
